Restaurant Meal Timings:
- Breakfast: 08:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Lunch: 01:00 PM – 03:00 PM
- Dinner: 08:00 PM – 10:00 PM
If meals are included in the package, they will be served “On-Buffet” or “On-Table” as per the occupancy of the day, at the discretion of Kumaon Eco.
- Package meals do not include snacks & beverages.
- In-room orders will be charged extra.
- If a guest skips the meal without prior notification before the meal timing starts, it will be considered as “Missed Meals,” and no alternative or optional meals will be provided.
Important Policies:
- Outside food is not allowed within the resort premises.
- Hookah/Shisha is not allowed in the resort premises.
- Corbett Tiger Reserve is a designated low-noise zone; hence, loud music is not permitted in open areas.
- Jungle Safari is subject to government permit availability. It is recommended to book at least 15 days in advance (charges apply).
- The resort does not have a liquor license. If guests bring their own liquor, it is not allowed to be consumed in common areas, including restaurants & swimming pools.
- Pets are not allowed inside the resort premises.
Guest Identification Policy:
As per government directives, it is mandatory for all guests to provide valid photo ID proof at check-in. Acceptable ID proofs include:
- For Foreign Nationals/NRI: Passport with Visa/COR
- For Indian Nationals/NRI: Passport (Visa for non-residents), PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License Failure to provide valid ID may result in refusal of accommodation.
Room Allocation Policy:
- While we strive to accommodate families and groups together, room allocation is subject to availability at the time of arrival.
- Special requests should be mentioned at the time of booking, and we will try our best to fulfill them.
Arrival & Departure Policy:
- Check-In: 12:00 PM
- Check-Out: Before 11:00 AM
- Early check-in is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed at the time of booking.
- To guarantee early check-in, guests must reserve a room starting from the previous night.
- Check-in before 9:00 AM: Charges equivalent to one-night stay apply.
- Check-in between 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: 50% of one-night stay charge applies (subject to availability).
- Late check-out is available on request and subject to availability:
- Check-out after 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM: 50% of one-night stay charge applies.
- Check-out after 6:00 PM: Charges equivalent to one-night stay apply.
Payment & Billing Policies:
- A 50% advance payment is required to confirm a reservation.
- If no payment is received, Kumaon Eco may cancel the reservation without notice and allocate the room to another guest.
- A 7-day holding period is provided for delayed payments. After this, the resort reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain any deposits.
- All pending payments must be cleared at check-out.
- Cheques are not accepted at check-out.
- Guests should provide GSTIN details at the time of booking; changes cannot be made post check-out.
- As per Indian Income Tax regulations:
- PAN card is mandatory for transactions above INR 49,999/- in cash.
- Cash payments above INR 1,99,000/- are not accepted under Section 269ST of the Indian Income Tax Act.
- The resort reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations in case of fraudulent activity or booking errors.
Wildlife Experiences/Jungle Safari (Chargeable Basis):
- Booking at least 15 days in advance is recommended to avoid permit availability issues.
- Safari booking requires guest details:
- Preferred date & time (Morning/Noon) & Zone
- Name, age, gender of all guests
- Valid photo ID proof (PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar)
- Guests must carry the same ID at the time of safari.
- Exclusive Jeep Safari in Corbett Tiger Reserve:
- Indian Nationals: INR 9,500/- (max 6 persons)
- Foreign Nationals: INR 13,500/- (max 6 persons)
- Corbett Landscape Safari (Sitabani Zone): INR 8,000/- (max 6 persons)
- Safari booking is confirmed only after 100% payment in advance.
- Once booked, safaris cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded as per Forest Department regulations.
- Safari is a third-party service under government authority; the resort does not hold responsibility for quality, safety, or guide behavior.
- Parks may close without prior notice due to emergencies, and the resort holds no liability in such cases.
- Safari bookings during the rainy season (June 1 – Nov 14) are subject to weather conditions and may be canceled without refunds.
- Safari costs are subject to change without prior notice.
- A minimum of 6 seats is required for a canter safari. If the requirement is not met, park authorities may cancel the booking.
House Rules:
- Strictly Prohibited: Vulgar dance performances, nudity, gambling, contraband, prostitution, satellite phones, weapons, explosives, hazardous substances, drugs, and animals.
- Guests are fully responsible for any loss, damage, or liabilities caused due to non-compliance with resort or government regulations.
- The resort is surrounded by forest and rural areas with natural flora & fauna, uneven surfaces, water bodies, and irrigation canals. Wild animals, reptiles, or insects may be encountered within the premises.
- The nearest medical facility is limited; prompt doctor-on-call services may not be available.
- Certain adventure activities involve risks. Participation indicates acknowledgment of risks, and guests assume all responsibilities for any mishap.
Force Majeure Clause:
Kumaon Eco shall not be held liable for failure or delays in service due to causes beyond control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, labor disputes, government orders, or other unforeseen events. Any disputes shall be resolved through mutual consent & agreement.
