At Kumaon Eco Resort we understand that plans may change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent while ensuring the best experience for all our guests.
1. Cancellation Policy
For Direct Bookings (Website/Phone/Email):
- More than 14 days before check-in – Full refund (minus transaction fees, if applicable).
- 7 to 14 days before check-in – 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
- Less than 7 days before check-in – No refund will be provided.
For Group Bookings & Events:
- More than 30 days before the event – Full refund (minus processing fees).
- 15 to 30 days before the event – 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
- Less than 15 days before the event – No refund will be provided.
For Peak Season & Festive Periods (Diwali, Christmas, New Year, Long Weekends):
- More than 21 days before check-in – 50% refund.
- Less than 21 days before check-in – No refund.
2. Refund Policy
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days from the date of cancellation.
- Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment.
- Transaction or service fees (if any) are non-refundable.
3. No-Show Policy
- Guests who do not check in on the booking date without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.
4. Early Check-Out Policy
- In case of early departure, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the stay.
5. Modifications & Date Changes
- Date modifications are subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days before the original check-in date.
- Rescheduling may incur additional charges depending on seasonal rates.
6. Force Majeure & Resort-Initiated Cancellations
- In case of natural calamities, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances leading to cancellation by the resort, guests will be offered either a full refund or a booking credit for a future stay.
